Job Description
Responsibilities:
* Maintain Fixed Asset subledger; including monitoring of CIP, capitalization / disposal / depreciation of assets, monthly account reconciliations, and journal entries
* Perform standard, re-occurring and adjusting journal entries for month-end close
* Reconcile balance sheet accounts
* Maintain documentation to prepare sales and use tax filings
* Perform account analysis and trend analysis
* Support weekly / bi-weekly payroll as needed; run reports, perform payroll journal entries, reconcile GL accounts
* Perform AR / Cash application; post customer payments and cash receipts, process check / ACH disbursements and wire transfers, process credits, reconcile accounts
* Update documentation of accounting policies and procedures
* Identify and implement process improvements as necessary
* Process purchasing card and T&E card requests
* Support the year-end audit process including preparation of audit schedules and assistance with obtaining necessary documentation
* Support AP processing as needed
* Performing other accounting, financial, or analytical tasks as needed
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
* Strong mathematical and analytical skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
* Ability to read and analyze financial reports
* Good business acumen and ability to work cross functionally
* High attention to detail
