What part will you play?

The purpose of the Technical Director is to operate the video console and live cut studio productions and live events. The Techincal Director has a full understanding of broadcast control room capabilites and works in concert with the Director and control technicians.

What will you be doing?

• Switch internal/external video productions via Ross production environment
• Offer creative suggestions that enhance show productions
• Collaborate with graphic department and editorial leads on creative idea development
• Organize and maintain switcher files, visual effects, and other peripheral devices equipment associated with TD area
• Demonstrate technical ability to troubleshoot and understand video workflow

What do we require from you?

• Knowledge of video switchers, DVE's, device controllers, and video servers
• Excellent control room demeanor, proven leadership skills, team-first attitude, and the ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment
• A desire to learn new technologies, processes and/or procedures as they are implemented
• Knowledge of Ross switchers & Xpression graphics systems

Preferred Qualifications of the Video Design and Operations Engineer:

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
• 3-5 years of experience as a control room Technical Director in a live production environment
