The Pennsylvania Game Commission is hiring a Forest Technician for our Northeast Region. As a 3 Year Limited Term-Forest Technician, you will provide technical support and assistance to Regional Forestry staff in day-to-day activities on State Game Lands with a primary focus on forest habitat management activities promoting young forest conditions. This includes conducting surveys and examinations of lands and habitats, assisting foresters in data collection and the application of herbicides, and participating in a variety of other forest habitat management activities. You may also have the opportunity to assist with other Bureau of Wildlife Habitat, Forestry Division, and Pennsylvania Game Commission programs as needed. Grow your career with us!

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Limited term, full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- An associate's degree in forest technology; or
- Completion of equivalent formal education in forestry.
- Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
Condition of Employment:
- This position requires possession of a valid PA non-commercial Class C driver's license or equivalent.
Other Requirements:
- PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
