Part Time Data Entry Pharmacy Technician

GoGoMeds is seeking experienced part-time weekend only, Saturdays 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM and/or Sundays 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM Data Entry Pharmacy Technicians for our mail order pharmacy. Duties will include: • Data entry and problem solving with pharmacists to deliver accurate prescription information. • Collecting and entering information required for timely and accurate processing of prescription orders • Reviewing medication orders and prescriptions • Providing customer service to patients • Contacting insurers to clarify coverage • Entering medication histories and maintaining records • Filling prescriptions accurately according to state and federal laws • Processing customer payments and resolve billing discrepancies • Reading and interpreting prescriptions and pharmaceutical literature • Other reasonable duties as assigned by manager Required Skills: Personal Attributes • Accuracy and adaptability • Dependability, punctuality, and accountability • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Displaying a positive outlook with a friendly, interactive style • Self-directed, but also able to work in a group • Willing to following directions as assigned • Strong multitasking, problem solving, and prioritizing skills • Strong stress and time management skills • Excellent verbal communication • Maintaining a professional demeanor • Desire for continual learning Required Skills: Technical • Knowledge of brand and generic medications • Knowledge of medical terms, abbreviations, and pharmacy calculations • Intermediate computer and software proficiency • Ability to work out of 2 or more systems simultaneously Required Qualifications • High School Diploma • Available Saturdays 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM and/or Sundays 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM Preferred Qualifications • PTCB Certification What’s in it for you: • Excellent Pay ($17 +/- hourly based on experience) • Casual Dress
