CNC Machinist - Lathe

Custom Machining Corporation is the world’s foremost supplier of Rotary End Liners to the canning industry; which provides safe, economical and recyclable containers for food and beverage. CMC is looking to add a new member to our team. We are in search for a reliable hard working assembler/service tech to join our high precision machine shop.

We are currently looking for a Lathe Machinist for our Englewood, CO location.

Machinist -Lathe Operator (Hard turn)

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate complex, precision jobs with minimal supervision
• CNC Programming, Editing and Set Up A PLUS
• Hold size and profile tolerances within .0002
• Perform first piece in process inspection using standard measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges and dial gauges
• Ensure all standard quality procedures are followed such as machine set-up, operation, inspection, documentation and material handling
• Maintain clean, organized and safe work environment following all safety standards and requirements. Perform preventative maintenance tasks as required

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent education and experience required
• 1-3 years of CNC with operation or machining experience
• Demonstrated skill working in a team environment
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing a plus
