Pay: $17/hr

Shift Options:

  • 6 AM - 6 PM, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, & alternating Wednesdays
  • 6 AM - 6 PM, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, & alternating Wednesdays


As a Production Associate with GAF Energy, your role will entail manufacturing cutting-edge building integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) products. Working under the guidance of the Production Supervisor at our Manufacturing facility, you will operate within an assigned section of the production line, actively contributing to the creation of high-quality solar technology solutions. Your responsibilities will encompass ensuring safety, maintaining quality standards, enhancing productivity, and ensuring on-time delivery. This will require you to work collaboratively within a highly focused team environment, where efficiency and attention to detail are paramount in the fast-paced setting.


Responsibilities include:

  • Assembling BIPV products using a mix of automated technology and manual skills.
  • Conducting various assembly operations, with soldering experience preferred.
  • Self-inspecting products to ensure quality standards.
  • Performing simple electrical testing as needed.
  • Inputting manufacturing data into MES.
  • Performing routine preventive maintenance.
  • Maintaining a safe, clean production environment.
  • Collaborating effectively within a fast-paced team.
  • Adhering to company policies and safety requirements.


Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Experience with hand soldering and torque-driven tools beneficial.
  • Basic PC skills and English proficiency required.
  • Strong math skills.
  • Ability to work accurately in a team setting.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Flexibility to work varying hours.
