Roller Operator - Colorado Springs

Schmidt Construction, part of the Edw. C. Levy Group of Companies is seeking Roller Operators to work at our Colorado Springs, CO location . The Roller Operator is a function of the asphalt paving process and is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient distribution and compaction of cooling asphalt to achieve a smooth, finished surface.

Pay: $25-30

Shift: 7am-5pm Nights and Weekends

• Knowledge of roller patterns
• Knowledge of densities and temperatures
• A team and safety oriented mentality
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to identify mechanical malfunctions
• Knowledge of bulk materials
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to perform other duties as assigned.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Follow all company safety procedures
