We are currently seeking a Custodian to join our 3rd shift team at our Savanna location. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within our facilities. If you take pride in your work, have an eye for detail, and enjoy contributing to a clean and safe environment, we want you on our team!

Job Duties:

• Perform general cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, buffing floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and emptying trash receptacles.
• Clean and service restrooms using disinfectants and mops.
• Clean equipment as assigned and restock supplies.
• Dispose of waste and scrap properly.
• Perform routine maintenance activities and notify management of repair needs.
• Monitor building security and safety, including locking doors after operating hours.
• Assist the maintenance department as required.
• Complete all documents accurately and adhere to 5S standards.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience and Education:

• Ability to work under minimal supervision and handle basic issues independently.
• 0 to 1 year of experience in a similar role.

Skills/ Physical Requirements:

• Ability to interpret work instructions and follow written and verbal directions.
• Basic verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-direction and physical stamina.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
