We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Permanent Quality Inspector to join our dynamic team in the Aerospace industry. This position involves ensuring the quality and reliability of our manufacturing processes and outputs, by performing a variety of inspections and tests. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to ensuring that our products meet all necessary standards and specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct first piece/first article inspections to verify conformance to specifications and standards.
• Perform in-process inspections to ensure ongoing compliance and to identify any issues or defects that may arise during the manufacturing process.
• Use a variety of inspection tools and equipment to measure and test products.
• Interpret and apply AS9102, GD&T and other relevant standards and regulations.
• Document inspection results by completing reports, summarizing re-works and wastes, and inputting data into quality database.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
• Collaborate with production team to address and resolve quality issues, improve processes and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Provide technical support and advice to other team members as needed.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting changes to enhance quality and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality inspection role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in first piece/first article inspection and in-process inspection.
• Solid understanding and experience with AS9102 and GD&T.
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in the use of various inspection tools and equipment.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate quality issues and solutions to team members at all levels.
• A commitment to upholding the highest quality standards.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of safety standards and compliance requirements.
• A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
