Commercial Lines- Account Specialist CSR

Responsibilities

The Commercial Account Manager/CSR is responsible for providing day-to-day support & Casualty insurance programs for existing clientele

This position will follow the direction of the Commercial Lines Supervisor

The Account Manager/CSR is responsible for assisting clients with service needs and making changes to existing accounts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of Commercial Lines- Account Manager/CSR:

Processes change requests/endorsements, binders, certificates, account summaries, proposals, policies, lost policy releases, audit and account balance status when requested

Ensures that these items are given to the client in a timely manner

Initiates appropriate correspondence with carriers and clients.

Responds to requests from clients and insurance companies

Maintains records according to Agency standards, ensures that procedures are properly followed and that information is properly documented and readily accessible.

Assists in the development of strong personal relationships with appropriate insurance carrier personnel.

Cross-sells products to potential clients, as needed.

And other tasks assigned

Work Hours: 8:30 – 5

Perks-knowledge of Hawksoft management system

Must be P&C licensed by the department of insurance

Estimated Salary: $20-$28 per hour based on qualifications
