To deliver and serve food and/or beverage items in a friendly, courteous and timely manner as stated in the banquet event order resulting in guest satisfaction. Also sets and clears banquet tables, stocks service stations, prepares buffets with chaffers or drying dishes chafing, label all items, sets decorations to assure the quality and presentation.

  • Sets banquet tables to meet function specifications with linens, clean polished glassware and silverware as per the BEO.
  • Carry trays and serves food, beverage & condiments/accompaniments to banquet and function clientele in a friendly and courteous manner to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Delivers dirty china, silver and glassware to kitchen steward’s area in Back of the House.
  • Maintain an open line of communication between guests, management and service staff
  • Maintains himself in the assigned service station, inside the event space, in order to provide service
  • Quietly removes china, linen, glassware and silverware from tables at the end of the meal period.
  • Maintain Waiter areas (Linen, Back of the House, Side Stand) clean and organized including equipment storerooms, coffee machines, fridge and other banquet equipment and areas.
  • Set/display F&B buffet including plates in cocktails, receptions or any other event when required.
  • Requires pushing large wheeled table and or other equipment to and from the function room area.
  • Serves guests and clears tables.
  • Cuts and distributes cakes when required in Banquet Functions
  • Serves from F&B Buffet when required
  • Must be familiar with menu items served during the functions.
  • Attends mandatory meetings
  • Performs all assigned side work such as replenishing condiments and restocking side stands
  • Abide by all state federal and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages.

  • Set beverages in stations with related polished glassware.
  • Must have knowledge of the Folds napkins and replenishes banquet supplies throughout the day.
  • Must comply with Tip Reporting Procedures according to hotel and State regulations.
  • Keep soiled linen separate from other items so it can be delivered to the laundry company.
  • Must be able to show initiative in job performance, including anticipating what needs to be done before it becomes a necessity.
  • Follows hotel standards for safety and security.
