Paint Line Inventory Specialist Summary: The inventory specialist is responsible for updating the Paint Line Production Excel Spreadsheets, ensuring accurate part counts, reviewing part and/or work order requirements, and communicating with necessary personnel on details and/or planning maintenance needs.

Paint Line Inventory Specialist Duties and/or Responsibilities:

  • Follows all related Safety requirements as trained
  • Effectively communicate related paint line product details daily via email or radio to Planning, Purchasing, Leads, and Supervisors.
  • Coordinates with Unload personnel and Unload Lead on any specific destination or handling requests specified on the Common Drive Excel log.
  • Obtain, access, and navigate through the Paint Production excel folder in the Paint Common Drive. Perform updates and save unload counts to the network.
  • Access, interpret, and generate a print for part identification purposes
  • Coordinate with load and unload personnel to ensure accurate counts for parts listed on a common drive.
  • Utilize AS400 to review part and or work order requirements details and ability to process work orders and perform necessary bin transfers
  • Communicate to Planning on any systematic Paint Dept. work order maintenance needs.
  • Assist the line with identifying extra parts and their consumption requirements.
  • Work with Material handlers on any related parts movements.
  • Assist on the line as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Paint Line Inventory Specialist Experience and/or Education:

  • High School Diploma or (GED or High School Equivalency Diploma)
  • 1+ year experience in similar role in a manufacturing/production environment preferred
