Job Details

Responsibilities include:

Ensuring the accuracy and promptness of financial outcomes
Establishing, implementing, and upholding financial controls and protocols
Mentoring, guiding, and cultivating the Accounting, Accounts Payable, and Payroll teams
Delivering comprehensive financial updates to the management team through diligent evaluation, analysis, and reporting
Formulating budgeting objectives with thorough scheduling and evaluation
Key Responsibilities:

Producing punctual and precise monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements in adherence to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
Overseeing and enforcing internal controls to protect company assets, policies, procedures, and workflows
Enforcing consistent accounting practices, policies, and procedures, while complying with local, state, and federal government reporting standards
Establishing financial and operational benchmarks, budgets, and reporting norms on a monthly and yearly basis in conjunction with the CFO
Analyzing discrepancies and presenting findings to management along with recommended actions
Fostering collaboration across departments to support diverse business endeavors
Driving ongoing process enhancement initiatives; identifying risk areas and guiding the development, implementation, and supervision of solutions
Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of professional accounting experience, ideally in a senior-level accounting or finance managerial role
Sound comprehension of banking procedures and financial data analysis
Familiarity with national and local tax laws and compliance reporting
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
Professional certification, such as CPA, is advantageous
Experience with Oracle NetSuite is desirable
