School Special Education Teacher Qualifications:
- Special Education Teacher License in NY
- Prior school or pediatric experience preferred
- Ability to pass a background check/fingerprints
This is a W-2 contracted position!
JobDetails:
- Full-time
- ASAP- End of School Year
- 18-20 year olds on caseload
- 6 students in classroom, paras to help support
- Working with students with developmental delays
- Each student has an individualized transition plan to prepare them to enter the workforce upon graduation
- Students learn functional life and academic skills through task boxes, the building coffee shop and other structured activities
