Travel School Mental Health Specialist Contract Job Open in Lapeer, MI
- Contract Dates: ASAP - June 21st, 2023
- Hours: 35 hours per week (30 minutes unpaid lunch daily)
- Pay: $30+ per hour depending on credentials held and experience in schools
Qualifications:
Candidates must meet one of the following qualifications:
- A licensed master’s level psychologist
- A limited licensed master’s level psychologist, under the supervision of a licensed master’s level psychologist
- A Michigan Department of Education (MDE) credentialed master’s level school psychologist
- A licensed master’s level social worker
- A licensed master’s level school social worker
- A limited licensed master’s level social worker, under the supervision of a licensed master’s level social worker
- A licensed master’s level marriage and family therapist
- A licensed master’s level professional counselor
- A limited licensed master’s level professional counselor, under the supervision of a licensed master’s level professional counselor
OR any of the following (with additional requirements noted afterward):
- School Counselor License (SCL)
- Michigan Teaching Certificate with the School Counselor (NT) endorsement
- Preliminary School Counselor Credential (PSCC)
- Temporary School Counselor License (TSCL)
Note: School counselors must apply to LARA and meet all necessary requirements to become a Limited Licensed Professional Counselor (LLPC) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) within 24 months of their date of hire.
