Job Description:

As a Porter at Gas Express LLC, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our premises. You will ensure that our customers feel welcomed and comfortable by keeping our facilities tidy, well-stocked, and safe.

Responsibilities:

1. Maintain Cleanliness: Regularly clean and sanitize all areas of the gas station and convenience store, including fuel pumps, restrooms, floors, and common areas.

2. Restocking: Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock as needed, including merchandise, snacks, beverages, and other essential items.

3. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and promptly addressing any safety hazards.

4. Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment and facilities, such as fuel pumps, trash compactors, and cleaning appliances, to ensure optimal performance and safety.

5. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other staff members to support store operations, assist with tasks as needed, and contribute to a positive team environment.

6. Reporting: Report any maintenance issues, safety concerns, or customer feedback to management promptly.

7. Adherence to Policies: Follow company policies and procedures, including dress code, attendance, and performance expectations.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in a retail or customer service environment.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain cleanliness standards.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform cleaning tasks.
