As a Systems Engineer (Entry Level) at Great West, you will be part of a collaborative team where you are encouraged and challenged to continually learn and grow.
As a member of the Infrastructure and Operations team, you will be responsible for supporting Windows Server/Storage, virtual desktop environment, software upgrades and implementations, backups and disaster recovery plans, LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, network security, network devices, and VPN connections. This position will allow you the opportunity to grow professionally and be a key contributor in helping build, maintain, and troubleshoot our rapidly expanding IT infrastructure within Great West.
Qualifications:
Degree in Computer Information Systems or IT related field.
Knowledge of computer software and hardware, operating systems, and networking a plus.
Microsoft 365 experience or certification a plus.
Proven ability to work as part of a team and independently.
Experience in providing professional and courteous customer service.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Self-motivated, naturally curious, ability to problem solve and think critically.
This position offers the option of a hybrid work schedule, with three days working in the office and two days working remotely.
