Pet Daycare Janitor / Cleaner

We are currently seeking a Janitor/Kennel Assistant to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities. This is an important role as it ensures a safe and pleasant environment for both employees and visitors.

Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when supplies need to be replenished
- Follow established procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
- Perform minor repairs or maintenance tasks as needed
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work is preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks is desirable
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks such as lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods of time
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
