A leading Partner of ours, one of the world's largest Facilities Management organizations, is looking for an Electrician to join their team. This role will be a part of the Integrated Facilities Services group that is currently supporting one of their largest clients, a Fortune 500 Aerospace leader based in Savannah, GA. They will be a key part in supporting the electrical components to ensure the building operates at peak performance for the 11,500 employees that sit onsite. ***1st Shift Schedule: M-F 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM***
***2nd Shift Schedule: M-F 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM**

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of hands-on commercial electrician experience.
  • Extensive experience inspecting and repairing electrical systems and components.
  • Extensive experience in connecting wires to circuit breakers, transformers, and other electrical components.
  • Previous experience with 480-volt, 240-volt, and 208-volt components and switchgears.
  • Proficient in reading schematics, electrical diagrams, blueprints, sketches, repair manuals, etc.
  • Must be able to lift or move equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspects, repairs, installs, modifies, and maintains electrical/electronic systems, circuits, and equipment.
  • Diagnoses malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
  • Connects wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
  • Inspects electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
  • Advises management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
