Area Supervisor / Commercial Cleaning

Shift:  Monday – Friday, 2nd Shift between the hours of 5PM - 11 PM

Areas Served:  Dauphin and Cumberland County

As an Area Supervisor, you will work hand-in-hand with our Operations Division, assist in the regular cleaning as well as execution of quality assurance inspections to multiple locations throughout Harrisburg, Camp Hill, Mechanicsburg and Carlisle areas. You will be overseeing the janitorial operational aspects of accounts, ensuring compliance with company guidelines, scheduling work and providing overall commercial cleaning/janitorial account management.  The Area Supervisor position will typically require filling-in and cleaning each day, this may be with little/no notice, therefore your schedule must be flexible. This role will never be boring and is constantly changing!

The following are some of the required duties, but not limited to:

• Executing top-level cleaning performance, along with quality assurance inspections of multiple specified facilities
• Assisting to manage and maintain accounts, through general maintenance, supply distribution, building access management, etc. 
• Training newly hired employees and on-going training to existing staff
• Promoting and engaging in open and clear communication with employees and management, especially through communication apps
• Implementing efficient time management in a fast-paced environment to plan, organize, prioritize, and accurately follow-through on work activities with time constraints and interruptions to meet deadlines
• Working collaboratively with management and teams, and accurately following instructions in order to best serve our customers/company 
• Working independently and using judgment to make decisions and to recommend/implement solutions, requiring a minimum amount of direction and/or supervision.
