Bayshore Residence and Rehabilitation Center is now hiring an RN Assistant Director of Nursing - ADON for our facility!
The ADON is instrumental in implementing the day-to-day functions of the nursing department to maintain standards of residents’ care.
Shift: Monday to Friday with a rotating on-call schedule.
Responsibilities for Assistant Director of Nursing:
This position develops and implements nursing services, objectives, policies, and procedures in accordance with Federal and State regulations as well as local standards and guidelines.
Designs, implements and evaluates nursing systems that ensure consistent delivery of care and maintain and promote resident rights.
Conducts nursing rounds on all units several times per day, including the beginning and end of shift.
Ensures that residents are free from abuse, mistreatment, and neglect.
Participates as a member of the facility’s interdisciplinary management team in planning, policy formation, and administrative decision-making, with particular emphasis on the facility’s nursing services.
Works with DON and Administrator to ensure a strong QAPI process, and progress toward goals
All duties as assigned by the DON
Education and/or Experience for Assistant Director of Nursing:
Licensed with current Minnesota nursing licensure required.
Degree from an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program.
3 years of experience in long-term care or assisted living setting preferred.
Experience with applicable state Survey Rules & Regulations, Medicare, and Medicaid.
Required ability to use desktop/notebook computers, Microsoft Office products, and various medical equipment.
Prior experience with PCC (Point Click Care) a PLUS!
