Warehouse Worker

JOB SUMMARY:

OUTFRONT Media is looking for a Warehouse Worker to assist with day-to-day operational tasks within the warehouse by receiving and logging in, material used for installations and postings. You will close out workorders by working side by side with the operational team. You will collate workorders and route install crews for the days installs. Manage the recycling of past postings and on occasions go out with field crew to assist on the postings of copy and maintenance of units.

Essential Functions:

• Route all work orders for the day's work load; place them in the crew folders by 7 a.m. (pull shop save material for crews)
• Put away all material brought back to shop and update Inventory Log
• Sign in all new material and enter into log upon receiving them
• Build extensions as they arrive
• Keep up with inventory, dispose of old vinyl's every 6 months
• Heavy lifting and pulling
• Work in other departments as needed
• All duties with shipping and receiving
• Ensure all warehouse grounds (inside and out) are kept neat and clean
• Label and date every new copy before placing on receiving shelf; Put away as they arrive in new arrival area
• Install and remove advertising copy on OUTFRONT Media structures to meet our client expectations

Physical/Mental Demands:

Must be able to operate power tools & hand tools. Must be able to walk, stand, squat bend, twist, crawl, lift, and reach above shoulders. Must be able to carry material up to 150 lbs.

Climbing and working at elevated heights, reading, multiple concurrent tasks, frequent interruptions, verbal and written communication, detailed work.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use of hands and fingers to handle and feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit, stand, and walk, as well as travel to work sites and other locations, some that may be remote. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The employee must be able to drive.

Equipment Used

Forklift, pallet jack, small hand tools, small power tools, paste machine, baler, power washer/ sprayer, safety goggles, hard hat, safety harness with lanyard, hook ladder, extension ladder, rope, slings, ratchet straps, flex bars, lawn mower, and brush cutting tools.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to climb and work at elevated heights
• Ability to lift and carry 60 pounds repeatedly (up to 150 pounds)
• Read and follow detailed instructions
• Required to pass company's fall protection training before climbing on advertising structures
• Ability to drive forklift and pass operators test
• Must be professional multi-task oriented, and able to communicate clearly, comprehensively and with complete personal and professional integrity
• Able to work independently or with a team member
• Good organizational skills, willing to take initiative and self-motivated
• A valid driver license
• HS Diploma/GED preferred
