Training provided

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reports to the Kitchen Manager/Executive Steward
• Washes pots, pans and kitchen utensils using the dishwasher or by hand
• Puts away clean equipment and utensils in proper storage areas
• Maintains kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in a clean and orderly condition
• Sweep & Mop the floors, walk-ins, bathrooms and all other facility areas
• Take out all garbage, breakdown boxes before taking to the dumpster and keeps garbage areas and pails clean
• Other duties as assigned by a manager and/or a supervisor

• Uses time efficiently and completes work in a timely manner
• Demonstrates attention to detail
• Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness
• Demonstrates the ability to work independently

Physical Demands and Other Requirements:

• Regularly required to stand for 8 or more hours
• Regularly required to use hands
• Occasionally required to lift up to 50 lbs
• Regularly required to bend down to floor level or reach above eye level
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have reliable means of communication
• Must wear slip-resistant, oil-resistant shoes while working at all time (provided by employee)
