ECS Limited is seeking an experienced Facilities Associate Principal to join our Pittsburgh team and focus on leading facility condition assessment projects. In this key role, you will plan and oversee comprehensive facility inspections, develop assessment reports, and provide leadership to junior staff.
Responsibilities:
- Lead planning and execution of facility condition assessments (FCAs) including barcoding equipment inventory and accessibility assessments.
- Develop detailed project plans, budgets, schedules, and resource requirements using FCA methodology and ASTM UNIFORMAT II classification.
- Perform technical review of proposals, reports, and calculations.
- Lead and coach junior staff in the Mid-Atlantic Facilities group and develop skills through training initiatives.
- Assist with business development efforts through community involvement and client engagement.
- Promote company values, positive culture, and high employee engagement.
What We're Looking For
Required Skills:
- 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Proven experience with business development and client relationship management.
- Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and personnel management skills.
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- P&L and operational management experience preferred.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Arch in Architecture, BS in Civil (Structural) Engineering, or Architectural Engineering.
- BS in Building Construction, Science, Engineering, or related degrees considered if certified as a Master Code Professional (MCP) by the International Code Council (ICC).
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) and/or Registered Architect (RA).
Preferred Education & Certifications:
- Arch in Architecture, MS in Civil (Structural) Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
- Master Code Professional (MCP).
