Job Title: Bilingual Medical Office Administrator
Location: Sante Fe, NM 87505, Onsite
Type: Temp to Hire
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Are you a dynamic, bilingual individual with a keen interest in healthcare administration? Our client in Sante Fe, NM is in search of a Medical Office Administrator. In this dynamic role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of front-office activities while providing vital support to patients, colleagues, and referral sources.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule patient appointments efficiently, manage out-of-office calls, and ensure comprehensive coverage.

  • Handle telephone inquiries with professionalism, delivering exceptional customer service.

  • Conduct thorough and accurate patient registration and insurance verification processes.

  • Organize the scanning and filing of patient documents effectively.

  • Assist in managing incoming phone calls and support the check-in/check-out procedures for patients.

  • Review clinician documentation to guarantee chart completeness.

  • Process over-the-counter payments and fulfill assigned tasks promptly.

  • Collaborate with clinical staff to coordinate ongoing services and schedule follow-up appointments.

  • Oversee incoming documents, ensuring appropriate delegation of tasks to relevant parties.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in an administrative capacity, preferably within a healthcare setting.

  • Proficiency in computer usage, including familiarity with electronic health/medical record systems.

  • Exceptional customer service skills coupled with a positive demeanor.

  • Ability to thrive in a team-oriented work environment.

  • Experience with Arizona insurance procedures is advantageous.

  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is beneficial but not mandatory.

Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
