ICU RN - Plattsburgh, NY - 12 Hr Days

I am seeking highly skilled and experienced ICU RNto join our team for a 13-week contract in Plattsburgh, NY.The position offers a 12-hour day shift, providing an opportunity for flexibility and work-life balance. The successful candidate must have a minimum of two years of related experience in an ICU setting.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of recent ICU experience
• Familiarity with managing Acute PE, Sepsis, COVID-19, and other critical illnesses
• Experience with hemodynamic & metabolic disorders, respiratory issues, and advanced procedures (ECMO, LVAD, Impella)
• Proficient in airway management, blood product administration, rapid infusions, and various drainage techniques

As an ICU RN, you will play an important role in providing critical care to patients with complex medical conditions in our fast-paced and challenging environment. You will be responsible for monitoring patients, administering medications, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and providing compassionate support to patients and their families. The ability to make quick decisions, effective communication, and strong critical thinking skillsare needed for success in this position.
