Electrical Apprentice - Residential Service

What You will be responsible for:

• Assist electrician and follow instructions
• Measure, cut, and bend wire, using measuring instruments and hand tools
• Prepare and clean work areas
• Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment and keep parts and supplies in order
• Perform semi-skilled and unskilled laboring duties related to the installation, maintenance and repair of a wide variety of electrical systems and equipment
• Carry and deliver materials
• Install, repair, and maintain various electrical wiring systems and equipment
• Follow safety codes and regulations

Qualifications and Skills:

• 2 years' experience as a Residential Service electrician apprentice preferred
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds; be able to push, pull, carry or maneuver heavier items (with additional manpower or appropriate devices); carry ladders; work from heights, work in small spaces.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills for electrical installation, maintenance, repair of electrical systems, and equipment.
• Must have strong customer service skills
• Ability to pass a drug test, background and MVR check, and physical
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Passion for helping others. Present a professional, positive, and helpful attitude at all time.
