We currently have an opportunity to join us as a Loan/IRA Support Representative on our Central Lending Team. This is a fast-paced position with direct opportunities to build member relationships, fulfill our member's financial needs, and contribute to the growth of the Credit Union.  


Essential Duties:


  • Verify the accuracy of vehicle identification numbers and member information prior to lien filings. 
  • File notice of liens for all secured loans.
  • Mail titles or lien releases on paid vehicle loans to members.
  • Review incoming insurance documentation for secured loans.
  • Maintain the Credit Union’s collateral protection insurance program.
  • Prepare, record, or send documents for recording on all real estate loans.
  • Receive and file recorded real estate documents.
  • Track and pay homeowners insurance and taxes for real estate loans.
  • Maintain a tracking system for title policy and other important documentation on real estate loans.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation that complies with State and Federal rules and regulations for IRA and Deferred Compensation accounts.
  • Maintain and coordinate the Credit Union’s IRA program through Ascensus.
  • Scan loan and membership related documents into OnBase.    
  • Respond to member inquiries regarding their accounts and other Credit Union products and services.
  • Assist VP of Lending & Compliance with conducting quality control audits of loan files.
  • Actively identify and promote all Credit Union products and services that meet existing or potential member needs. 
  • Maintain working knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and policies relating to financial transactions and Credit Union services.
  • Contribute to a teamwork environment.  
  • Ensure the confidentiality and accuracy of all member information.
  • Accurately perform all duties and transactions. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Position Requirements


  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Financial institution work experience preferred
