Fall Creek WI - PRN In Home Care

Job Summary:
Village Caregiving - Eau Claire is seeking a compassionate and dedicated PRN In Home Caregiver to join our team in Fall Creek, WI. This is a part-time, hourly healthcare/medical position, where the individual will primarily provide support and assistance to clients in the comfort of their own homes. The PRN In Home Caregiver will work on an as-needed basis, with a flexible schedule, and will report to the Care Coordinator.

Compensation & Benefits:
The position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $15 to $20, paid semimonthly. In addition, the PRN In Home Caregiver will have the opportunity to work in a supportive and fulfilling environment, making a positive impact on the lives of others.

Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and quality care to clients in accordance with their individualized care plans
- Assist with daily living activities including, but not limited to, bathing, dressing, personal grooming, and toileting
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding, as needed
- Administer medications and assist with medication reminders
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and dishes
- Accompany clients to appointments and facilitate transportation, as needed
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of services provided and changes in client's condition
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and the Care Coordinator to ensure the best care is being provided
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols
- Attend ongoing education and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School diploma or equivalent required; CNA or other healthcare certification preferred
- At least 1 year of experience in caregiving or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and follow a care plan
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds and perform physical tasks as required by clients
