Deloitte’s U.S. Talent Workforce Strategy & Solutions (WSS) team collaborates across the Deloitte businesses to shape our future workforce strategy - including the design, development, and implementation of ‘future of work’ strategies, development of end-to-end workforce solutions, and firmwide workforce planning initiatives. The team tackles the firm’s most critical workforce strategy opportunities. The roleThis role sits within the WSS - Workforce Planning Center of Excellence and will oversee the firm’s Skills-Based Organization (SBO) strategy and enabling technologies.  This role will drive execution and adoption of the SBO strategy which includes but is not limited to overseeing implementation of the skills technology roadmap, establishing firmwide skills data governance, identifying tools and solutions to evolve the firm’s skills management and technology infrastructure.   The SBO strategy will evolve the way the firm captures and uses skills data to enable decision-making and business growth by providing greater visibility into emerging skills, trends and workforce skills gaps to support acquisition, deployment and professional development.  Blending capabilities across project management, HR technology, stakeholder engagement and change management this role will lead the strategy and serve as an integration point across Business and Talent priorities to drive adoption and to centralize technology investments.   The ideal candidate has experience navigating complex technology and data projects, has solid experience with large scale change management efforts, is a strategic, big picture thinker who can connect the dots across a broad landscape and is a dynamic, inclusive leader.  Key to this role is the ability to consider issues from multiple perspectives, have strong influencing capability and be extremely proactive in driving results.   Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Develop productive partnerships across Talent and the Businesses to advise on skills management, skills-based talent processes and governanceInfluence and gain senior leader buy-in to drive adoption and support of the SBO strategy and broader WSS initiativesAnalyze business strategies and skills planning activities to identify talent implications and opportunitiesEffectively gather and interpret internal/external skills data to assess talent gaps, identify future needs and model future scenarios to inform leadership decision-makingLead the development of insightful, data-driven skills solutions and implement scalable tools and technologyOversee the design of skills data visualizations (e.g., dashboards) in collaboration with the People Analytics and Reporting team Develop compelling, logically structured presentations to drive strategy adoption and communicate skills integration points across Talent and Business prioritiesManage, coach, and support the success of junior team members via formal and informal reporting relationships Desired Skills, Experience & Capabilities Strong strategic advisor background with experience operating in a complex organizationStrong consultative skills; ability to scope, lead, manage and deliver complex projectsSuccess engaging at senior management levels to impact and influence decision-makingDeep understanding of strategy development, design, and implementation of cross-functional initiativesStrong written/verbal executive communication skills; strong listening, facilitation and influencing skills with audiences of all management and leadership levelsDemonstrated ability to lead a distributed, cross-functional team and develop strong, credible relationships across the Deloitte network  Qualifications Minimum 8 years’ experience in a Business Strategy, Talent Business Advisor or Business Intelligence role OR in-depth knowledge and experience in a relevant Talent or client service consultative roleProven track record leading high performing teams in agile, fast paced work environmentsDemonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic, complex environment; Calm under pressure and ability to pivot with unexpected challengesSystem and/or technology project experience preferredMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.  The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.  At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.  A reasonable estimate of the current range is $126535 to $259830. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
