If so, we might have just the opportunity you're looking for!Idaho National Laboratory’s (INL) Nuclear Science and Technology group is seeking forward-thinking professionals interested in exploring a career as a Strategic Coordinator.Our team works a hybrid 9x80 schedule located at our Research Education Campus with every other Friday off!Responsibilities Include:The Strategic Coordinator uses strong leadership and problem-solving skills to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the coordination Nuclear Science and Technology directorate (NS&T) engagements with industry, international organizations and within INL. Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), the Senior Technology Coordinator will distill and organize complex or competing information, using in-depth knowledge of the laboratory, its operations, and respective business lines. Employing knowledge of lab strategy, planning, policies, operations, staff, and cultural norms, this role will make recommendations to the CTO related to organizing responses and action planning. The Senior Technology Coordinator conducts research on emerging issues, understands important (internal and external) factors to consider, and reports/advises on proposed solutions. This position ensures continuity and quality of timely communications, coordinates planning and preparedness for executive meetings, events, and decision making, manages critical taskings to timely completion, and performs a variety of other functions to maximize the time and effectiveness of NS&T, working closely with the CTO, the NS&T Associate laboratory Director (ALD), NS&T division directors, Chief Operations Officer, and the ALD’s administrative assistant.QualificationsMinimum Requirements:Bachelor’s degree(s) and a minimum of five years’ experience with a record of increasing responsibilities and superior job performanceThe incumbent must possess exceptional judgment and discretion, outstanding personal and relationship acumen, and demonstrate political sensitivity to act as an effective confidential assistant and facilitator in a fast-paced environmentThe incumbent must possess well-developed project-management skills, be organized and disciplined, demonstrate initiative and attention to detail, and be persistent in following up to ensure the right results.Excellent verbal, analytical, organizational, and written skills are requiredMust able to work in a culturally diverse environmentJob Information:Salary Grade 220 ($107,520 - $177,336)/240 ($139,488 - $237,144)Chosen applicants are required to show a demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working environment.Multi-Level: This is a multi-level posting and the selected candidate will be placed at the appropriate level dependent on depth and breadth of proven experience and skills.INL Overview:INL is a science-based, applied engineering national laboratory dedicated to supporting the U.S. Department of Energy’s mission in nuclear energy research, science, and national defense.
