We offer deep sector expertise across a full range of products and services in investment banking, equities, fixed income, asset and wealth management in the Americas, Europe and the Middle East and Asia. Job Duties:  Jefferies is seeking for Site Reliable Engineer personal to play an instrumental role in supporting various Equities trading business - Derivatives and SwapsResponsibilities:·         Front Line Site Reliable Engineering and Support functions for Equity trading systems used by Jefferies clients as well as internal users.·         Build monitor tools for application and infrastructure components. ·         Build, test and install software in QA, UAT, Production and DR environment.·         Gather and analyze metrics from operating systems as well as applications to assist in performance tuning and fault finding.·         Partner with development and infrastructure teams to improve services through rigorous testing and release procedures.·         Expedient deployment of new systems. Capacity planning, Platform Management, and support for increasing volumes and business growth.·         Create sustainable systems and services through automation.·         Problem research and resolution. Be responsible for tracking bugs and stability issues that affect the production environment and drive changes to mitigate these.·         Collaborate with Application team to establish and enforce production and development standards. ·         Document procedures, best practices and troubleshooting FAQs.·         Resolve complex application and technical problems.·         Debugging the system and fixing the production related issues. ·         Escalate / follow-up on permanent fix for development related issues. ·         Manage communication of system and application outages to the end users whenever required. ·         Handles complex operational tasks and recommends process and technology changes.·         Global support and includes weekend availability to troubleshoot production related issues and perform checkouts.·         Ability to work both independently and in groups in an energetic, diverse environment.Experience/skills Required: Strong experience (7+ years) in providing System Support and Engineering functions for real-time trading environment.Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematic.Strong Knowledge of Windows environment, PowerShell and SQL.Strong Knowledge of monitoring tools – AppDynamics, Nagios, Grafana, SplunkStrong Knowledge of configuration Management systems.Strong Knowledge of Market data productsStrong knowledge of Infrastructure Management Components.Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.Knowledge of FIX protocol.Knowledge of Structure Products, SWAP, Derivative business, nice plus.C#, .net, VB Script development skills set, nice plus.Personal AttributesGood communication skills, including the ability to write clearly.Able to function effectively as a member of a team.Proactive with respect to personal and technical development.QualificationsThe salary range for this role is $150,000 to $210,000.  At Jefferies, we believe that diversity fosters creativity, innovation and thought leadership through the infusion of new ideas and perspectives.
