General Labor Warehouse

Our client in storage and information management company is seeking a General Labor to join their team. As a General Labor , you will be part of the Warehouse Team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in warehouse or general labor duties, own protective toe cap footwear and responsibility which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: General Labor Warehouse

Location: East Knoxville, TN

Pay Range: $17.50

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 6:00pm

What’s the Job?

• Move boxes of files, books, binders, backup tapes and other materials. The job is very physical requiring the manual lifthing, carrying and moving/arranging of boxes and while standing, stooping, crawling, kneeling and twisting.
• Safely load and safely operate hand trucks or pallet jacks while walking. 
• Use the proprietary computer system to track orders to determine location of boxes.
• Operate hand held scanner.
• Lift boxes ands carry boxes ranging in weight up to 50lbs. 

What’s Needed?

• Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check.
• Must be able to stand, push, pull, bend, squat and lift up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to operate a pallet jack.
