Senior Care is looking for a dynamic House Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations at our Pocatello male adult residential group home. This is a full time position (40 hours a week) taking care of 1-3 disabled gentlemen in a private residence, and overseeing the care and shift coverage in the home. This full-time position and requires flexibility in work schedule, and required to be on-call.


The House Manager would have a normal full time shift (40 hours a week) working in the home directly with the individuals; and in addition to their normal schedule, the House Manager is responsible for ensuring the home has 24 hour 7 day a week staff coverage. Should an employee not show up for their assigned shift the House Manager would be responsible for covering that shift themselves.

The House manager would have the full support of the office staff when it comes to staffing, recruiting, HR issues, and scheduling; however at the end of the day if there is an unassigned shift, the House Manager is responsible for that coverage.
The ideal candidate should have strong initiative, excellent problem solving skills and the ability to be creative, while managing multiple priorities in a busy residence. The successful candidate will be able to maintain effective relationships with individuals, families, staff, and the Office.

Manager Responsibilities:
• Promote a positive and productive work environment in the home
• Monitor all direct care employees on cares, and compliance with policies and procedures.
• Promote Senior Care's values and strategic vision
• Ensure 24/7 coverage in the home
• Monitor Individual Service Plans and compliance with documentation
• Ensure oversight of Health & Fire Safety
• Manage crisis situations and behavioral issues as the needs arise
• Manage the home maintenance, and report any issues to the office
• Diligent in complying with Senior Care's policies, rules and regulations
Direct Care Responsibilities:
• Companionship
• Meal Preparation
• Housekeeping
• Help individuals achieve personal goals
• Medication reminders
• General assistance around their home
• Running errands
• Engaging in activates like games, memory books, and light exercise
• Personal care assistance (bathing, dressing & grooming)

Job Requirements:
• High School Diploma required
• Med Tec certified preferred.
• One years experience working with Disabled individuals
• 6 months supervisory experience
• Strong managerial skills and written and verbal communication skills
• Clean and valid Idaho driver's license
• Strong Microsoft Office computer skills
