Accounting Specialist

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dedicated Accounting Specialist to join our client's team in the Everett, WA area. This role offers a fulltime, permanent opportunity for individuals with a solid accounting background, particularly those skilled in QuickBooks and financial management. Pay is $25 - $30 per hour, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Professionalism. Interact with clients in a professional and courteous manner.
• Communicate clearly and effectively to address client needs and inquiries.
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
• Perform data entry and reconciliation of bank and credit card accounts.
• Create and post journal entries with a keen understanding of debits and credits.
• Maintain and update the general ledger and chart of accounts.
• Coordinate and manage projects related to accounting and financial services.
• Ensure timely completion of projects and deliverables.

Requirements:

• Utilize a minimum of 5 years of accounting experience to analyze financial data.
• Demonstrate proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop/QuickBooks Online, preferably at the QB Advisor level.
• Generate and interpret financial statements.
• Strong knowledge of journal entries, general ledger, and chart of accounts (debits & credits).
• Experience with financial analysis and reporting.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
