Registered Nurse - Observation Unit - Part Time - Days

Staff Nurse: A Registered Nurse performs and coordinates total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing staff and other patient care personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice. A critical attribute required of this position is exceptional interpersonal customer services consisting of an outgoing positive attitude, warm friendly joyful demeanor, and the utmost care and respect for our guests, patients, families, customers and colleagues.

Primary Resource Nurse: A staff nurse who has been assigned by the nurse Director or House Supervisor to provide coordination, delegation, direction and supervision of direct patient care activities and to serve as a clinical resource. A critical attribute required of this position is exceptional interpersonal customer services consisting of an outgoing positive attitude, warm friendly joyful demeanor, and the utmost care and respect for our guests, patients, families, customers and colleagues.

EDUCATION

1. Education: BSN Preferred.
2. Population Specific Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the population of patients served in Ambulatory, Observation, and the GI Lab.
3. Experience: Two (2) years’ current experience in Ambulatory/GI preferred.
4. Required Certification: Current Washington RN license, current BLS, current ACLS, and PALS.  PALS must be obtained within six (6) months of hire.
5. Other: Bilingual and/or English-Spanish speaking preferred.  Ability to work with culturally diverse population.

Salary Range: $34.13- $63.39

This is a Union position.

Sign on bonus (pro-rated for part time positions:

• $10,000 for new graduates
• $15,000 for 1-3 years of experience
• $25,000 for 3+ years of experience
