HX5 is currently seeking a Contracts Administrator to join our team in on-site in Fort Walton Beach, Florida in support of the contracts department.

Summary

This position is responsible for the administration of contracts and subcontracts. Performs a variety of complex tasks and advises internal departments regarding contract requirements. Position prepares contract documentation and performs contract closeouts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

This position includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Examines drafts of contract requirements and delivery schedules to detect ambiguities, inaccurate statements, omissions of essential terms, and conflicts with possible legal prohibitions and discusses discrepancies with the Contracts Director.
  • Reviews subcontracts for conformity to Teaming Agreement (TA) requirements and discusses discrepancies with Contracts Director.
  • Researches contract issues and monitors contract performance versus contract requirements.
  • May review subcontracts, Associate Contractor Agreements (ACAs), Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), and Teaming Agreements (TA).
  • Maintains and updates contract and contractor status databases.
  • Works under the direct supervision of senior contract personnel.
  • Assists in the performance of contract close-outs.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
  • Government contracting, operations, program management, or industry experience helpful.
  • DoD specialized acquisitions experience helpful.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret government contracts, federal clauses, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours.
