Genesis10 is currently seeking a Maintenance Manager for a permanent role with our client in their Darien, WI location. Summary: Administrative and managerial work that involves coordinating the activities of supervisors and skilled maintenance and mechanical workers engaged with all aspects of machine and building maintenance. This includes but is not limited to the preventive maintenance, repair, modification, and improvements of production equipment. This position is also responsible for the overall safety of individuals in their assigned equipment workspace as well as the upkeep of the facility. Arranges for the upkeep of company facilities, equipment, and property. Focuses on long-term project management. Responsibilities: This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time. Directs all workers engaged in overseeing and performing limited structural repairs to building furnishings and in maintaining and repairing building utility systems, such as electrical wiring and controls, heating and ventilating systems and water distribution and plumbing systems. Requisitions tools, equipment and supplies. Inspects completed work for conformity to blueprints, specifications and other building standards. Design, develop, maintain, document, troubleshoot, and debug PLC and HMI software. May supervise contractors engaged in installing, servicing and repairing mechanical equipment and building repairs. Oversees maintenance and inventories of equipment and tools and the safety and operation of vehicles and equipment. Approves sending equipment and vehicles out for specialized repair. Prepares documentation, including forms and various reports, as necessary. Submits requests for new or replacement parts, equipment, tools, vehicles and related items. Performs the duties of maintenance technicians, including driving vehicles. Maintains discipline, resolves problems, determines performance and recommends, promotions, transfers, dismissals, and hires. Enforces safe behaviors and workplace practices. Initiate, coordinate, and enforce operational and personnel policies and procedures well as perform other duties as assigned. Responsible for updating PO Requisition and CMMS Software and Databases Responsible for maintaining all machine documents and drawings Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience: Five+ years of experience required in the installation, maintenance, and repair of machines and equipment. Preventative Maintenance experience Mechanical and electrical expertise. Two-year associate degree in machine maintenance or a Bachelor degree in electrical engineering is preferred Strong PLC repair, design, programming/troubleshooting. Prior management (experience managing a small team) and supervisory experience is a must.
