EHS Manager

Position: EHS Manager Location: Orangeburg, SC Industry: Steel Fabrication & ESIH Job Function: To be responsible for the Environmental Health and Safety for a steel fabrication facility located in Orangeburg, SC, reporting directly to the Plant Manager and with strong reporting responsibility to the Director of Environmental Safety and Industrial Hygiene. Our client is looking for an experienced EHS Manager to join their plant management team to ensure their industrial standards are met. Responsibilities: Implement and monitor all safety, industrial hygiene & environmental programs for company, local, state, and federal OSHA, and EPA regulatory compliance. Develops policies and programs for plant personnel safety including training programs, processes, and procedures for the prevention of hazards and diseases. Maintains, analyzes and processes EHS audits in plant and shop areas. Manage, store, emergency respond and dispose of hazardous waste, waste minimization, and spill prevention. Investigate and prepare root cause analysis of all EHS incidents. Requirements: Five years minimum of EHS experience in an industrial environment required. 7-10 years of Environmental and Safety experience. CPR certified and First Aid/Responder preferred.
