Service Technician

Job Description

Field Service Technicians with industrial experience are needed by manufacturer of large laundry machinery. Successful candidates will be tasked with providing excellent customer support and technical expertise. Frequent travel throughout North America for no longer than 10 days at a time will be required. When not traveling technicians will work at the factory to assemble and test equipment. Our management team would like to speak with any individual suited to perform repetitive tasks with an attention to detail. The goal is to build and support industrial machinery of innovation and excellence.

Pay: $28.00 - $36.00/hr. DOE

Hours: Mon-Fri 6:30am – 3:00pm with overtime 

Job Responsibilities & Duties: 

• Install, start-up, and repair industrial laundry machinery at customer locations
• Use of hand tools, drills, and voltage meters is required
• Troubleshoot electronic & mechanical issues
• Set pressures for gas heated equipment
• Test & adjust functions to assure smooth operation of equipment
• Ability to lift & move up to 100 pounds
• Provide customers with technical support & training both in the field and over the phone

Preferred Qualifications: 

• High School Diploma, GED, or Associates Degree
• 2+ years of technical experience
• Ability to read electrical schematics & diagrams
• Experience with 480v AC Motor Control Circuits and VFD’s
• Knowledge of pneumatic & hydraulic systems
• Strong mechanical skills required
• Ability to work with PLC's & operator interfaces
• Basic computer skills & working knowledge of Microsoft Office
