Liquids Manufacturing Batch Maker

ABCO Laboratories is a contract manufacturing business that works with our customers to develop and produce a variety of food seasonings, spices and dietary supplements and personal care products. Our Liquids Manufacturing Department produces and packages liquid and semi-solid dietary supplements and personal care products.

REQUIRED:

3-5 years’ experience with a working knowledge of emulsions, viscosity, pH readings, specific gravity and unit conversion.

The main duties of the position are as follows:

· Weigh and stage raw materials for each batch

· Set up and operate equipment

· Precisely follow batch instructions to blend batches

· Maintain accurate records of weigh out and batch making activities

· Follow GMPs, personnel safety and food safety protocols

· Maintain a clean and organized work area

An ideal employee for the Liquids Manufacturing Batch Maker would be someone who shows up to work on time every day; someone who enjoys working within a team, someone who has great organizational skills, attention to detail, and penmanship. We are looking for someone with 3-5 years’ experience with a working knowledge of emulsions, viscosity, pH readings, specific gravity and unit conversion who can accurately follow batch instructions. Strong math skills, ability to read and comprehend detailed instructions required. Must have the ability to routinely lift 50 lbs. and stand on feet for an 8 hour shift required. Forklift experience preferred.
