HR Specialist

 

An HR Specialist must have an understanding and expertise to support organizational business goals. 

 

Duties include providing end-to-end assistance in all HR functions such as sourcing and recruitment, employee engagement, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and performance management across all PSB sites.

 

The successful candidate will be a seasoned HR professional in the shared service industry with strong general HR experience emphasizing on creating a relational work environment. He/she must embody the company’s culture and values. Since building relationships and communicating clearly are essential in this role, the HR Generalist must bring highly developed interpersonal skills. An individual who can preserve equanimity in the midst of change and conflict and sees all human interactions as a vehicle for growth, will be a best fit in this role.

 

 

 

Job Responsibilities


General HR Operations

  • Help develop and implement a well-defined sourcing, recruitment, onboarding and offboarding process for employees
  • Coordinate and facilitate HR meetings, all-company meetings, and all-company engagement activities
  • Help develop and implement a solid performance management system that will allow leaders to effectively manage their teams’ goals and action plans to achieve them
  • Ensure that the company’s handbook on rules and regulations are well maintained and implemented by leaders and followed by all employees
  • Help develop and implement relevant employee engagement and employee retention activities in partnership with operations, that impact employee morale and addresses critical operations issues such as attrition
  • Assist in addressing employee issues and labor problems in accordance with the company’s rules and policies
  • Recommend and design learning programs and talent development programs to ensure that the organization’s pipeline of effective leaders remains strong


People and Culture Development

  • Help provide big picture vision for the staff work experience, in partnership with the Leadership Team in the USA.
  • Help design projects and initiatives that drive the company’s culture and values across the site, ensuring alignment with the overall vision and culture of the organization.
  • Help ensure that the people and culture initiatives/projects are strategically designed to drive overall site performance and support operations in achieving its’ business goals.


Financials

  • Help assess projects and operational needs, with US Leadership Team, to help provide a budget needed for the team.
  • Manage a budget for benefits and employee engagement.

Job Qualifications:

 

Education and Experience

  • At least 5 years of relevant human resources experience
  • Strong experience in general HR with functional expertise in talent acquisition, employee relations/labor relations, performance management, and engagement
  • Learning and development background and experience, designing and implementing leadership training programs, is preferred
