Job Summary/Essential Functions: Housekeeping is responsible for upholding and maintaining the cleanliness and safety standards of Ripley's, regardless of the time of day or time of year.

Specific physical responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following tasks.

• Emptying trashcans & sanitary receptacles as well as picking up trash inside & out.
• Keeping the entire grounds outside the facility clean and free of trash, gum, stray pine straw, etc.
• Stocking towels, toilet tissue, soap, air-freshener.
• Sweeping, scrubbing & mopping floors.
• Stripping & waxing hard floors.
• Shampooing carpet.
• Vacuuming carpet
• Replacing carpet tile
• Cleaning toilets & urinals
• Dusting silk plants, signs, walls, lights, etc.
• Cleaning up accidents.
• Cleaning windows & mirrors.
• Cleaning acrylic.
• Touch up Painting
• Other duties, as deemed necessary by management

Language: Understand, speak, and write English

Other: The ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Academic: Ability to read and write legibly and to use basic mathematical skills
