Common Links Construction is a union subcontractor that specializes in installation of Steel Stud Framing, Drywall and Finishing, Painting, EIFS, and Acoustical Ceilings. With 2 locations in Milwaukee and Madison we are growing quickly. As the VP of Acoustical Solutions, you will be responsible for expanding the Acoustical Ceilings department in both locations by building a customer base, selling work, and attracting a team of Estimators and Project Managers as we grow. You will also be involved in the training of  field employees to successfully install all types of ceilings and wall panels. You will be responsible for tracking the acoustical ceilings pipeline. 

Job Duties: 

• Estimate and manage projects of your own 
• Train estimators and project managers as they are hired
• Manage the cultivation, development and maintenance of relationships with new and existing customers
• Contribute positively to team dynamic and manage up where necessary
• Attract, develop and retain talent
• Forecast Acoustical Ceilings pipeline for both Madison and Milwaukee 
• Strategize and collaborate with other members of the management team

Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have: 

• Extensive knowledge of Acoustical Ceilings systems 
  
• Strong communication skills with team player mentality 
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; highly detail-oriented
• Previous experience in commercial construction; particularly in project management/estimating 
• Ability to positively lead a group of employees
