Salary:

Dive into the world of Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and take a hands-on role in the electronics manufacturing process that's essential in today's digital age. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  Performs any combination of the following tasks to run, program and manage SMT equipment.

 

  • Reads work orders, follows assembly documentation, sample assemblies or verbal instructions.
  • Loads program into the SMT computers
  • Load parts in SMT machine feeders and checks feeders for part alignment
  • Troubleshoot machine errors
  • Meet daily production plans
  • Maintain process charts and records as directed by supervisor
  • Ensure attainment of production plans at the agreed upon levels
  • Performs testing and inspections using magnifying devices, measuring instruments or electronic test equipment to ensure assemblies meet production specification and standards.
  • Reports any defects to supervisor.
  • Maintains clean and safe work environment.


Skills

  • Good dexterity and eyesight.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions.
  • Previous soldering or electronic production experience would be beneficial.


Experience:  Two (2) Years experience using production equipment is preferred but not required
