WHAT YOU'LL DO

The Risk Management Governance, Risk and Compliance ("GRC") Analyst will have responsibility for coordination, administration, and development of the Company's GRC platform, RSA Archer, in support of the Company's enterprise risk management program. This position supports the risk management objectives of a growing financial institution.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Plays a key role in the Second Line of Defense by ensuring critical information used in the identification, measuring, monitoring, and controlling of risk is appropriately captured in the Archer platform.
  • Translates business requirements into designs and solutions for GRC process scenarios; understands and analyzes the desired end state and then determines how its best delivered, communicating alternatives when requirements and best practice design are in conflict.
  • Plays an integral role in the overall development of the Company's GRC roadmap and capabilities; identifies gaps in risk management processes and information captured in the GRC and makes recommendations for improvements.
  • Works closely with Second and Third Line of Defense functions to ensure that audit findings, monitoring exceptions, known control failures and other related risk and control issues are properly linked to ensure a wholistic view of risk across all Lines of Defense.
  • Develops, analyzes and presents audience-appropriate risk reports to Line of Business Leaders, Executive Management, Committees and Boards that illustrate the Company's risk profile and highlight key risk areas.
  • Operates as the Company's GRC platform Subject Matter Expert:
    • Coordinates with third-party vendors and internal technology functions to ensure the GRC platform is properly maintained
    • Coordinates with internal departments to test, implement and support new platform capabilities in a manner that ensures alignment of risk information across all use cases
    • Assists in developing the capabilities of management and associate users through targeted training
    • Organizes and facilitates an internal user group to foster communication with key GRC stakeholders' and ensure their needs are being met

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

Knowledge of:

  • Advanced experience handling competing priorities and communicating expectations clearly
  • Excellent customer service, client relationship, problem resolution, and communication skills, both verbal and written

Ability to:

  • Build strong relationships throughout the bank, working with various stakeholders, and to communicate effectively to all levels of employees, management, and regulators

EDUCATION AND TRAINING

  • Requires Bachelor's degree in IT/MIS, Business, Finance or Accounting (or equivalent) required.
  • 3-5 years' experience (preferably) in risk management or process improvement fields; financial industry experience (strongly preferred).
  • 2-4 years' experience using RSA Archer required; at least 1 year of experience in a super-user or administrator role.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required; Business Intelligence (BI) tools experience preferred.
  • Experience creating and maintaining detailed project management plans.
