Job Title: Bilingual (Spanish and English) Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Reports to: National Director of Clinics
Supervises: Behavior Technician Trainees, Behavior Technicians, RBTs, Lead RBTs
Status: Part Time, Billable Position
Position Overview
The BCBA reports to the National Director of Telehealth. This in-person position was designed to support AAI’s mission to support and grow talent by providing a position that is specific to those clients being served within the assigned region of our operations. This position is considered a supervisory role that requires a high degree of professionalism, communication, and organizational skills. This position is expected to objectively and effectively support all AAI team and family members when challenges arise and celebrate effort and success. The BCBA Program Supervisor is a part of the leadership team and is expected to lead by example and exemplify AAI’s Shared Vision and Core Values. Regional Director of Telehealth Responsibilities
Provides monthly direct supervision to Assistant Program Supervisors (APS), BCBA Trainees, and BTs/RBTs/LRBTs (as needed), depending on caseloads in the assigned region and desired minimum billable requirements.
Conducts clinical meetings as needed with other team members to consult and ensure treatment effectiveness and commitment to ethical behavior analytic practices
Attends weekly/bi-weekly and as-needed meetings with the Assistant Director and/or National Director in their region
- Provides weekly supervision to RBTs and BTs (Technicians) on all assigned cases at a rate of approximately 20% of direct service hours
- Utilizes BST to train and support Technicians with implementation of treatment programs
- Designs treatment programs individualized to clients’ needs and provide supplemental Skill Acquisition Plans, Behavior Intervention Plans, data books, visual supports, and any other supportive material required to effectively implement treatment
- Reviews client and Technician billing and scheduling to ensure all sessions are accurate and converted
- Conducts IOA and provides Technician Total Performance Feedbacks
- Ensures field targets are being implemented as expected by Technicians
- Provide support to Directors to train new Technicians
Conducts initial assessments for new clients
Writes initial assessment and reassessment reports
Reviews/edits all initial and reassessment reports for the region prior to submission and submits to billing department for authorizations
Responds promptly and with appropriate prioritization, within assigned region’s business hours, to all work-related emails, Google chats, phone calls, and texts
Regularly delivers quality assurance checks with all staff and cases in the region to identify needs for additional support, increased morale, etc.
Works with Senior Program Specialist (SPS) of Training & Development to onboard and train new R/BTs
Works with HR to prepare Growth & Development Plans, PIPs, and other performance feedback when needed
Works with SPS of Training & Development to provide individualized field training for staff in the region
Attends monthly PS Hangouts
Monitors client cancellation rates and communicates policy violations to Director
Ensures their assigned RBTs are getting 5% supervision hours
Monitors and ensures BCBA candidates are getting their supervision contracts fulfilled and fieldwork hours are being signed off on appropriately
Meets regularly with Lead RBTs
Covers for other BCBAs when out, as needed
Spot checks R/BT data and session notes in Central Reach
Conducts quality assurance checks with parents and caregivers as needed
Essential Job Responsibilities
Analyze data, review Central Reach graphs, and make treatment decisions accordingly with the support of the Program Supervisor
Monitor client authorization utilization and cancellation rates
Attend school (if applicable), interdisciplinary, and AAI clinical team meetings
Provide weekly or bi-weekly parent education to caregivers
Complete initial and re-assessments and write respective reports
Act as a liaison between families and AAI’s upper management team
Meet as scheduled with your assigned LRBTs and Director to review each client, caregiver, and Technician’s progress
Consult with Director regularly regarding treatment
Keep open availability for AAI schedule including providing supervision, running direct intervention sessions, and meetings between the hours of Monday-Friday 8am - 7pm with the potential for some weekend hours as necessary
Complete a minimum of 103 billable hours per month including supervision and direct

Basic and Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Must be able to lift and carry clients with adaptive equipment as needed
Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time
Must be able to sit on the floor or stand for extended periods of time
Must have manual dexterity to perform specific computer and electronic device functions for data collection
Must be able to receive detailed information through oral communication
Must have visual acuity to read and comprehend written communication through computer, electronic devices, and paper means
Regular access and general knowledge of modern technology (computers tablets, smartphones, and telehealth platforms)
Education
Masters Degree in ABA, Education, Psychology and/or related field with Masters Certificate of ABA Course Sequence
Current professional certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Have or obtain 8-hour supervision certification
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a BCBA
Minimum of 1 years of supervision of RBTs
Minimum of 4 years experience within the field of ABA and/or with children with autism and/or disabilities
Minimum of 1 years of experience with parent education
Minimum Qualifications
Authorized to work in the United States
Reliable transportation and active/valid driver's license and automobile insurance
Background check is required
Have or obtain CPR and First Aid certification
Maintain all up to date attendance at and signage of AAI policies, procedures, and trainings
Provides & Maintains Updated Immunization Records: AAI understands that the California law for Immunizations is murky and controversial. However, for the purpose of universal precautions, AAI is expecting employees to be up to date with their immunizations: Hepatitis B, tetanus shot, measles/German measles, and chicken pox. In addition, a yearly TB test within 30 days of hire and prior to servicing cases is required.
