Purpose of the role:

The role of the Global Head of EUC and Infrastructure will be accountable for delivering all end user computing services across all our regions and operating companies, whilst also being accountable for cloud infrastructure that provides services internally and externally. Leading on a strategy of simplification and rationalisation of our estate, the role will be accountable for delivering the best possible experience for our end users, ensuring they are safe and compliant and able to deliver their best using the tools we provide.

Role responsibilities:

Delivery
• Delivery of global end user computing services to ~2000 users across a global business
• Accountable for the design, deployment, and maintenance of critical, global IT infrastructure components and associated services, including servers, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Office365) within the remit of Global Business Systems.
• Accountable for the support, maintenance and compliance of all global user based assets
• Accountable for developing and delivering a globalised, standardised desktop strategy and utilising best available technology
• Ownership of SLA management, operational reporting and service reviews to senior internal and external stakeholders
• Accountable for the delivery of messaging systems across our global user base
• Accountable for security across all areas of Infrastructure and desktop
• Working alongside Collinson CISO office to ensure compliance of the entire estate, with regular monitoring, reporting of KPIs to senior stakeholders and board members
• Accountable for global Identity and Access management, along with all domain management
• Accountable for all cloud infrastructure, hosting, cloud networking backups within GBS
• Working alongside CISO office to provide SecOps services alongside external SOC
• Accountability for the security and resiliency of all end user devices
• Provide operational monitoring, KPI and incident management of our internal and customers Infrastructure
• Provide management of third party support providers

Strategic
• Lead transformation of and standardisation of our EUC devices across the globe, enabling users to work seamlessly wherever they area
• Lead on the improvement programme and removal of the last remaining on premise infrastructure across the globe, including active directory, domain controllers etc to become a fully cloud operating function
• Deliver on continuous improvement programmes to strengthen operational resiliency and security within Global Business Systems, but also to business partner with our internal clients/operating companies across the group
• Drive a strategy of increasing customer satisfaction for EUC devices

Required experience, knowledge and skills:

• Significant, demonstrable experience working managing infrastructure and end user device and Infrastructure
• Experience of managing large global teams and third party managed service providers
• Expert knowledge of data centre architecture and technologies (cloud and on-premise)
• Strong transformational experience, with a bias to service improvement, digital acceleration, process re-design and optimisation and cost savings.
• Experience with client engagements, contractual, commercial and process and service design work, including good understanding of client and project financial management.
• Ability to show initiative and to work independently
• Ability to thrive in a fast moving and changing environment
• Proactive management style with a customer centric approach.
• Experience in cloud network design and operation
• Organisational design
• Expertise in major cloud platforms and technologies such AWS, Azure, Office365
