Due to our continued growth and success, we are currently seeking an Inside Salesperson to join our staff.

Position Overview:

Generates sales activity with customer base while providing customer service activity to support customer requirements.

Essential Job Functions:

Responsible for satisfying customer service requirements for their accounts.

Responsible for generating and maintaining sales activity with VMI contract customers as assigned (IPS/Bin stock, etc.).

Responsible for conducting a thorough contract review per QCI #2140 on all customer orders.

Identifies and communicates the customer requirements for each customer order to the Sales Data Entry Clerk for database order entry.

Identifies and communicates customer quote requirements to the Quote Administrator for RFQs.

Maintains all customer drawings to current rev levels as required.

Responsible for establishing sell prices, at acceptable margin levels, as required.

Identifies and communicates any customer service requirements requiring material receipt pull-ins, etc. to the Expeditor.

Generates increase of sales activity, leads, and opportunities for the branch at all times.

Documents all activity via use of CRM, Quote Application, and other database tools as required.

Oversees AR activity for assigned accounts and assists with resolving outstanding, overdue invoices.

Must have open communication with purchasing, quality, warehouse, and sales support departments at all times.

Continual education and growth of fastener industry and products.

Requirements:

Fastener industry and product knowledge.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Excellent analytical and sales skills.

Knowledge and use of basic PC skills including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

High School diploma or equivalent
