Job Title: Security Specialist

Job Summary: Join our growing team of cannabis professionals as a Security Specialist at our Marshfield location! As the Security Specialist you are responsible for the internal security and external perimeter security of the assigned facility. Meeting all security requirements consistently, and ensuring completion of all security rounds, monitoring, safety checks, and the general day to day security needs at the facility. You will ensure protocols outlined in Frozen 4 Corporation policies and procedures are adhered to at all times. This role reports to the Security Supervisor.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Follow company policies & procedures for the daily operations and fully comply with state cannabis regulations and good manufacturing practices;
• Maintain safe and secure environment for customers and employees;
• Secure premises and personnel by conducting facility walkthroughs of the property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; monitoring, reporting and adjusting lighting as required during off hours;
• Permitting entry to only authorized staff, vendors, and permitted visitors;
• Review and permit access to vendors through our visitor log and badging processes
• Controlling, maintaining, and tracking all access control along with all doors, locks and keys for the facility;
• Help ensure the parking lot and exterior lots, including auxiliary parking areas, are clean and free from debris and damages, Reporting any findings directly to the Store Manager and Security Supervisor;
• Maintains confidentiality with regard to information, proprietary and other internal matters at all times;
• Conducting any necessary escorting duties for visitors and vendors as needed by the operation;
• Ensures compliance with all security regulations and requirements for both the department and facility
• Address, resolve and report security breaches;
• Observes and reports losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures to the security supervisor;
• Provide high level of customer service and assistance to customers and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
• All other duties as assigned

• Must be able to manage stressful situations and maintain their own composure throughout
• Must maintain ethical conduct at all times
• Ability to work in various environments including but not limited to adverse outdoor conditions such as cold, rain, heat

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in security, asset protection, or loss prevention is preferred
• Required to work flexible hours, including weekends, as assigned to provide maximum security coverage;
• Must possess a valid state issued driver's license or ID
• Must be 21 years of age or older per the Cannabis Control Commission regulations
• Ability to pass a background check per the Cannabis Control Commission regulations
• Requires the ability to remain in a stationary for 10 hours per day
• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop
• Ability to move 30 lbs
• Must have reliable transportation
